Submission Notes

It has come to our attention that many authors need sufficient time to arrange visas and get lower airfare.

我们了解到,许多作者需要充足的时间来安排签证事宜,及预订更优惠的机票。

Therefore, the Full Paper will be reviewed as it comes in. The review period may take at least one to two weeks, depending on the review bidding process, reviewer availability, and scheduling. 

因此,全文投递后即刻启动评审流程。同行评审周期至少为一到两周,具体时间视评审流程、时间安排和审稿人情况而定。

Or, authors may submit an abstract first, and then a full paper later. Abstracts will be reviewed quickly – usually within a week. If an Abstract is accepted, after registration, authors will receive an invitation letter to assist with travel plans and visa application. To be included in the conference proceedings, authors must submit their Full Paper by the deadline for peer review.

作者也可选择先提交摘要,再提交全文。摘要评审通常一周内完成。录用后,注册作者将收到官方邀请函,可用于行程和签证申请。摘要注册后,请在截止前提交全文以进行同行评审。录用的全文将编入大会论文集,会后发表并提交检索。

When submitting a manuscript, please specify any specific requests in the submission. The processing period will be based on the actual time required.

Each paper must undergo an institutional confidentiality review by the authors' institution and receive approval from the authors' respective institutions before being submitted for the conference.

作者所在单位在投稿前应确保每篇论文的摘要及全文已通过保密审查。 

 

How to submit

Only original papers will be considered for presentation and publication. The manuscripts must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the review cycle.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts or full papers using the Online Submission System. Please refer to the detailed guidelines for the online submission system, or send your queries to conf@siusai.org

 

Double Blind Submissions

Authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity, also please remove the information that can be used to trace back to the authors via a web search. To help with this situation, here is the suggestion:

You may only keep the Names and Affiliations on the first page of your manuscript (Names and affiliations will be removed or covered when sent to the reviewers, however, the original version will still be kept as metadata ). Please note that the rest body of the manuscript should never disclose any authors’ personal information or give away your identity. 

If a paper is accepted, the complete list of authors must remain identical to the metadata in the final camera-ready manuscript.

Title Page

For conferences conducting double-blind peer review, the Title Page should cover the information of authors, acknowledgments to disclose funding sources, or other information that could disclose the identities of authors. Please note that the Title Page will not be shared with reviewers.

Self-check

Before handing in the manuscript, all authors are expected kindly to proceed with a self-check. A thorough self-revise will be of great help to our peer reviewers’ work. While running a self-revise, we suggest checking key qualities such as:

Originality

Make sure that your paper contains no plagiarism, and offers novel ideas.

Accuracy

Make sure that the writing of your paper clarifies the work of study.

Scientific soundness

Your research presented in the papers should be valid, with the solid design of the experiment.

Significance

Your research work in the paper needs to be sufficiently important to the field and achieve sufficient advances in the focused area.

Audience

The priority audience of the paper should accord with those of the conference.

Language

The paper submitted for the conference should be written in English. Please choose appropriate words, and proper grammar and avoid spelling and syntax errors.

Length

Paper exceeding 12 pages will iccur extra charges. Please make sure your paper’s length is sufficient to support the subject.

Presentation

The presentation of your work is one of the critical assessments.

 

Audio Visual Support During Presentations

 

Basic AV equipment like a projector with screen, and microphone will be provided, and there will be technicians in the room should any problems occur with the audio-visual equipment. Please seek their support if you require this at any time during your presentation.

*Please be aware that internet access is not guaranteed. Having an external storage source is imperative. If you need some extra software for your presentation, please contact the conference secretary to make sure it is possible. 

 

Poster Presentation Size
